About Sandown Racecourse
Sandown Racecourse is operated by the Melbourne Racing Club, and is located 25 kilometres from Melbourne in the suburb of Springvale. The Sandown Classic is the racetrack's signature race. The course is home to two race tracks: Sandown Hillside and Sandown Lakeside.
