IMOGEN (6) brings the strongest overall form line, having won on debut at Hakodate before being beaten a neck by Felicita in the G3 Hakodate Nisai Stakes. The 1400m is new, but her two-start record, Group 3 placing and Cristian Demuro's excellent record in this race make her the horse to beat. BRIGHT SCRIPT (8) is the clearest danger after winning on debut at this track and distance as odds-on favourite, and Takeshi Matsushita won this race in 2019. BISCUIT SAND (3) has the right 1400m grounding, with a debut win and a G3 third behind G T Maika at Chukyo, so she profiles as a genuine winning chance if she finishes off as strongly again. FELICITA (10) is unbeaten and already owns the key head-to-head over Imogen, though she was long odds in that Hakodate G3 and now has to stretch that form to 1400m.
