MARU MORI MY BEST (5) brings the most reliable form profile, with three straight placings and a last-start third at this track after starting odds-on favourite. The win has not arrived yet, but two placings from two attempts around 1400m and a narrow second to Belle Veil two back give him the clearest standard. AERO CRYSTA (9) has to rebound from a flat favourite run at Kyoto, yet his earlier third behind Break Girl and two placings from three starts keep him firmly in the winning mix. SIMSALABIN (7) was doing his best work late on debut at this track and is open to sharp improvement, though 1400m is still untried. THREE OF SPADES (1) led on debut at big odds before finishing sixth, and the inside draw gives him a platform to take another step second-up.
