BELLAGIO IZANA (5) made the ideal start when scoring by two lengths on debut at this track, starting odds-on and holding Makkoto Moody safely after giving a clear kick. She has the strongest upside in the field and the Uchikoshi-Miyagawa combination adds further confidence. SPICE TOWN (2) brings the most consistent exposed profile, with three seconds from three starts and a last-start placing behind Palmgren after again being prominent in betting. ROYAL QUARK (3) has to put a plain last run behind him, but his one win and four places from five attempts at this track and distance keep him in the discussion. HARUGA KITA (6) beat Spice Town by just under a length at big odds last start, and while she must prove that was no one-off, her three-start record gives her genuine place appeal.
