BANGKOK MAGIC (7) has the profile to beat after consecutive Greyville Aw wins, the latest as favourite in BM82 company by just over a length. He is three wins and one placing from five starts overall, already proven at 1400m, and his current-season record gives him the strongest winning platform. BISOU BISOU (3) is the key danger on consistency, having been beaten just over half a length at both recent runs and sent out favourite last start behind Sosoru. The 1400m record is the query, but his overall form reads well. TIME IS PRECIOUS (2) is also knocking on the door after a long-neck second in BM96 grade and brings a strong seven-start profile, though 1400m is new. FISH TALES (1) resumes unbeaten, including an Open win at Greyville, and has the class to test them fresh despite also being untried at the trip.
