POSITIVE ATTITUDE (6) has earned top billing after building through this campaign and winning at Vaal last start, holding Hotarubi by a neck after a sound third the run prior. His record around 2400m is solid enough and the recent form line gives him the right profile despite being an eight-year-old. CURIOUS GIRL (5) is the obvious danger, second-up after a well-supported Greyville third and backed by an excellent distance record, with two wins and two placings from four attempts around this trip. BEST CANDIDATE (2) brings the sharpest recent winning habit, having scored in a BM96 at Vaal before going under by less than a length at Turffontein Inside, though 2400m is new territory. BELLEROPHON (1) was beaten only a length and a half by Positive Attitude after firming into odds-on favouritism, and his BM90 win two starts back keeps him firmly in the minor-winning mix.
