On pace runners, 1, 4, 5, 7. ITALIAN SPIRIT was produced second up when he led throughout second up at Rosehill. Stepping up form 1400m can now be regarded as a plus. IMELDA was dominant at Muswellbrook twelve days ago when she relished a step up into this distance range at only her second run in a race. Taking the step from maiden grade is already within her reach. TACITLY kept trying in defeat when he stepped back in distance to tackle this trip last start at Tamworth and he can be expected to maintain his form this afternoon. PERINI MISS found the line with no dangers when she made her home track debut here last start. She should have more to offer at only her third start in her first campaign since a stable change. AUTUMN SKY struck too much trouble when she was resuming on the Illawarra Grange track and her unplaced effort must be overlooked.
