A competitive maiden to kick off the day. LOOK HERE goes on top third up. Fitter for two runs this prep and fought on well second up to finish in the placings. She will look to roll forward again, settle on speed and be strong late. ALL STAR should be rock hard fit after a number of starts this campaign. He is as honest as they come and always puts himself in contention. Was narrowly beaten last start and will be in the finish again. HELLFIGHTER put in a much improved showing second up, looking to have appreciated the rise to 1500m. She remains at that trip here and can improve further. STABILITY was solid second up and will appreciate the rise in trip.

Newcastle Racecourse is in the suburb of Broadmeadow in New South Wales. It hosts 26 Saturday race meetings per year, as well as autumn and spring carnivals. The track is operated by the Newcastle Jockey Club. It hosts major races such as the Newmarket Handicap, Cameron Handicap, Newcastle Gold Cup and the Newcastle Spring Stakes.
