Backmarker who keeps coming. Great chance to get off the mark this time. C'S TODAY (11) settled back on debut last start then made a dash forward before the turn and stuck on well to finish second over 1207m at Ellis Park (Dirt). Will be better for that experience and is expected to feature again. FINAL COUNTDOWN (8) finished 10 lengths from the winner in ninth on turf at Ellis Park Turf two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Ellis Park Turf over 1106m when 1.5 lengths adrift in fifth. Can bounce back returning to the dirt.
