His record at the venue and at 1400m gives the recent form a solid base. OGURI MCQUEEN (2) has been well beaten at his past two, but the return to 1400m is important given he has four wins at around the trip and has already won at this track and distance. HAKUAI TOWER (4) was beaten as a well-supported favourite last start, yet he still worked into third and continues to build into the campaign for the top-ranked track trainer. KANADERU AIR (11) was disappointing last start after being close in the market, but her second to Herakles Tesoro two runs ago gives her a pathway back into contention if she produces that level again.
