CASTELLI IN ARIA was a beaten favourite when resuming but was strong to the line. Stablemate EXPANDING POWER was lame after the first up run and has shown glimpses. PINAZAKI has been game in the placings at two of three runs this prep, going close as favourite at Avoca. CHRONIC was a fair way from the winner first up but was doing best work late, suited up in trip here at first run for a new stable. LAUNDERING has not had the best of luck at two runs this time in and is a possible improver. Debutants OUR BRUD and HAMMER HEAD come off jump-out placings.
