In recent years it's been pretty easy to find the winner of this race - JIMMYSSTAR last year off an Everest 3rd and Bella Nipotina in 2024 after winning the big one a fortnight before. Clearly those coming through the $20M feature are easily fancied here again, with HEADWALL beaten within 1L. Put any of Ka Ying Rising, Tempted or Joliestar in this race and you have yourself a short priced favourite. I concede HEADWALL has not the record of any of that trio but it's still a high level last start performance to bring alone. NINJA and JIMMYSSTAR were both sound and not far behind him.
