This is the right race and he can get the job done. SPEEDY WILSON (6) has been in the placings at his last two appearances, finishing second over 1609m in stakes class at Los Alamitos (Dirt) most recently. Great chance to take this out. AHRENS (5) returns from the paddock after closing last prep with two consecutive wins, the most recent over 1308m at Del Mar (Dirt). Can continue his winning ways. GUN RUNNER CHARLIE (1) is back from a spell of six-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1609m at Del Mar (Dirt). Worth plenty of thought.
