PRETENDING (3) stalked the lead and fought on well to finish 2.25 lengths away in third (27.96) at this track in an A3 over 450m. Remains without a win from the draw but has been in the placings six times from 11 attempts. Hard to beat again. TIMMYS DUO (2) looks well placed here following an A2 win two back before finishing fifth at his latest appearance in an A2 at this track over 450m (28.47). Strong chance this easier company. HIGHVIEW EXOTIC (6) was unplaced two starts ago then improved to score last time out at this track over 450m (27.61). Faces stiffer opposition but hard to leave out.
