FURY (1) comes in on a 4-race winning streak and looks the one to beat despite a six-and-a-half-month absence. His latest success over 1000m on the outer course here was decisive, and he can take this out fresh up as well. SON OF ZOUS (2) resumes after placing in Group 2 company over 1200m on the main course here on April 24. He has the early speed to take up a prominent position and should take some pegging back. WAQIAAH (5) makes her first start for Maher Ebrahim after six months off. She placed first-up in Group 2 grade over 1200m last prep, and she can figure in the top 3 here as well. BLACK PEARL (3) returns after last racing on April 24 and boasts a strong fresh record, including two wins. One of those came over 1000m at this track, making him a genuine each-way contender.
