POMPATUS resumes after a 20-week break and showed promise in his first campaign. Capable of running well fresh. SUN TO ME has been racing well and gets the in-form apprentice in the saddle, and can continue to improve. THE BENTLEY looks next best after hitting the line strongly last start.

About Newcastle Racecourse
Newcastle Racecourse is in the suburb of Broadmeadow in New South Wales. It hosts 26 Saturday race meetings per year, as well as autumn and spring carnivals. The track is operated by the Newcastle Jockey Club. It hosts major races such as the Newmarket Handicap, Cameron Handicap, Newcastle Gold Cup and the Newcastle Spring Stakes.
