IRON STAR (5) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 1000m at this track five days ago. Strong run last time and should prove tough to beat. CEDERIC (11) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. BIG RED (7) fought on for second last start over 1300m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be prominent from the outset. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. JOVENTURFMAN (10) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 1100m at this track in a disappointing performance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be ruled out of a top 4 finish.
