After Saturday's listed Crockett Stakes result at Flemington, SCOVILLE is the hardest to beat of the raced division. She split Aroused and Unkechaug when she debuted well at Ballarat. Those fillies finished a close 2nd and 5th respectively in the Crockett. The new-comer HOT SAMBA has jumped out well matching it with the two time winner Tolaga Bay. Would be keen to know how Grahame Begg compares HOT SAMBA to Aroused. Betting? MAGNUSAURUS REX was good and a little unlucky back to the 1000m last time. RUNNING RICH and RESONANT clashed here back in May in the Vobis Gold Rush. RESONANT had the honours but given the runs in transit there's little between them.
