Small field but a good race for the 3yos. SOUND BYTE had a comfortable lead but like the way she won 1st up. She held Nishioka at bay with a significant margin back to 3rd. Nishioka was a very good 4th at Flemington on Saturday in a listed race. PURGATORIO is flying. He blew the start badly before winning his Ballarat maiden. At Geelong he was very good against the day's pattern. SUNBLISS got too far back in that GR 3 race last time. Her run prior was good. The local HYDRO RUSH appreciated 1200m at Ballarat winning a race like this. CENTENARY FLORIN did very well in her first campaign. NICKIBI was backed at nice odds to win his maiden at Moe with a comfortbale lead.
