The 1250m is new ground, but that latest run gives him the strongest immediate platform and he has the scope to go on with it. STITCHINTIME (1) is a serious threat after placing on debut in a MPLTE at this venue, beaten just over half a length by Above The Law, and the 1.5kg claim is a useful extra. IN THE HIGHEST (9) has more to prove after a plain debut over 1400m, though the R900,000 buy comes from a leading stable and can improve sharply. TEQUILA TANGO (2) is race fit, had excuses when a beaten favourite last start and his previous second keeps him in the mix if he produces that form again.
