The resuming CAMELIGHT creates plenty of interest. Close 5th here in heavy when last seen fresh, in much stronger grade that day. KOKATAHI was 4th home that day and today has the benefit of two recent starts. MONOTONE won like Tarzan 1st-up, then ran home like Jane at $1.50 2nd-up. #Ouch! Which one turns up today? MISSION OF JOY bolted in 1st-up on a soft 6 then just missed winning here 2nd-up. Only prior in heavy had an excuse aka lame. AMOURETTE didn't have the best of luck fresh on top of the ground. Only prior was on debut on soft in NZ and returned to scale the winner. VICTORIA and WHISKEY AND ROSE lightly raced last start winners, both untried in wet.
