One more week in town at Eagle Farm before we head south to the Gold Coast for the pointy end of Queensland's Summer Racing Carnival. I'm typing this preview on Tuesday morning which is acceptance time, Saturday is a long way off however my prediction is for a good rated surface as the forecast is for mostly fine days. Tempo appears solid in this opening race with 1, 6, 7 & 8 the main players. Tough way to start the day, BELEGATO the best horse in the race however even allowing for the lack of tempo disappointed here last week. I'll lean to the in-form HOLY RACKET aided by the 3kg claim.

About Eagle-farm Racecourse
Eagle Farm Racecourse is Queensland's premier track. It hosts the Brisbane Cup, QLD Derby, Victory Stakes and the Stradbroke Handicap. The track is operated by the Brisbane Racing Club. It is located on over 60 hectares of land in Ascot. The track has a circumference of 2027 metres and a 434-metre-long straight.
