1200m Maiden Plate for the blokes. Thirteen can run. No's 11,12 most likely seek to lead, no's 2,3,7,13,16 stalkers one and all. As things stand Chris Anderson is good for two as is Gollan. Both yards usually indicate via the market moves which one they fancy. My word they do. Too many in the field are yet to race on an affected surface so assessing them is on the tricky side. There are three I believe warrant plenty of thought. SPEEDY CROWN had little luck on debut on a soft 7 around Ipswich then when next seen, and also fresh, again ran well on a soft Ipswich track. Was an eye-catching 4th here latest. BUDDA BAR ran well on debut when 2nd home on a soft 5 then was in all sorts at a vital stage at 2nd and only other appearance. Giving TRAMCA plenty of thought as that 1st-up run from a wide draw on a soft 6 was very good. 2nd-up the horse had no favours again. On trial 1200m, time will tell if that is a problem.
