About Launceston Racecourse
Launceston Racecourse, also known as Mowbray Racecourse, is situated just 3 kilometres from the Launceston city centre in the suburb of Mowbray. It is run by the Tasmania Turf Club, which hosts its most prestigious race, the Launceston Cup. The track has a short 230-metre straight and a circumference of 1830 metres.
