About Vaal Racecourse
Vaal Racecourse is located in Viljoensdrif in the Free State province of South Africa. It has a turf track of about 3000 metres, the longest in the country, and a sand track of 2800 metres. Key races include the Grade 2 Heritage Cup (1450 metres) and the Grade 3 August Stakes (1200 metres).
