MCKENDRICK (9) made a strong return after more than three months when he came from wider on this row for second at Taupo. Should be fitter for that and if things go his way he can go one better. SKYS LEGACY (1) was a touch disappointing when fifth as favourite from this barrier last start. That was his first outing off a let-up so may be better for it and he recorded back-to-back placings in November, one here and the other at Alexandra Park. Worth another chance. LINCOLN MAREE (3) has been thereabouts of late, finishing fourth at Taupo last time. Draws for another good showing. CAROLAN QUESTRO (4) showed pleasing improvement last time out when third at Taupo and had kicked off this campaign with a win at this circuit and distance last month. Respect.
