Late start, track should be good by now unless (of course) they over irrigate. Watch this space. Eight race card, kick things off with a 'mile' maiden for 3yo's. Map says 5 gets an easy lead, perhaps the suitably drawn 8 and 9 are the stalkers. With that map in mind NOTTINGTON PRINCE, UNIQUELY FAMOUS, and BRITISH GEM should get all the favours. None make that much appeal on recent endeavours but this is an easy race to be winning. ARTISTIC ENDEAVOUR caught the eye 2nd-up over 1350m, only time will tell if it can stay this trip. SECRET FENKEL, MY CHARM, and URBAN PRINCESS have had excuses, not without claims. Take a wide trifecta?

About Ipswich Racecourse
Ipswich Racecourse was first established in 1890 and was originally known as the Bundamba Racecourse. It is run by the Ipswich Turf Club. The track has a circumference of 1746 metres and a 300-metre-long straight. The Ipswich Cup is an open handicap race worth $200,000 in prize money.
