At the time of writing (Thursday) the track is rated a good 4 and with fine weather forecast it should remain in that condition. This isn't a race I'm overly keen to play in but PROUD MISS appears to have her hoof right on the till having been game in defeat at her past couple. JAMCART was posted wide third up and should be ready to show more out in trip. ALASKA DE LUNE has worked home soundly at both runs for the new yard and strips all the fitter for them. JUST BEAUTY battled away okay when out to 1800m at her second attempt and has more upside than most rivals.

Ipswich Racecourse was first established in 1890 and was originally known as the Bundamba Racecourse. It is run by the Ipswich Turf Club. The track has a circumference of 1746 metres and a 300-metre-long straight. The Ipswich Cup is an open handicap race worth $200,000 in prize money.
