Around half of them are 1st up. CONDOR is race fit and going ok. That was an improved effort at Cranbourne. The outside draw isn't the end of the world. He's a fast beginner. Back to a 66 over 1000m is the key to MIDNIGHT DEVIL. The last time he was in a race like this was three back at Sale and he ran well. ALBERTVILLE resumes. He's lightly raced and a good talent. He gets a soft trial behind them. He had a jump out with YOLO who I thought was every bit as good. That new season 3yo has been gelded. He's in very light after the claim. PACIFIC GLAMOUR impressed 1st up on a H9. She was in at another Ballarat meeting a few weeks later and scratched when the track was upgraded to a 3. She ran well at Cranbourne last time on a good 3 track. By race 7 on this hot day it will be interesting to see if Team McEvoy roll the dice again on what is likely to be firm footing. She is a smart filly.
