SOUTH STAR (2) never fired a shot last start when getting well back and never featuring after showing promising signs in his first couple runs this season. He's trialled well since and Purton remains in the saddle which is a good push for his chances. Draws better and can bounce back to his best. MIGHTY STEED (12) draws a little better this time around after sitting on the speed and finishing 1.8L off the winner last start at this track and trip. Remains down in the weights today and if he can get across with ease, he'll be up front for a very long way. SUPER UNICORN (6) flew over the top to win here most recently to make it back-to-back wins. The inside draw will see him sit closer in the run and he can continue to his winning form. A AMERIC TE SPECSO (4) gets J-Mac on board now and can put his best foot forward.
