PODIUM (1) appreciated the step up in distance last start when the barnstorming winner of a similar race here three weeks ago. Goes up 4kgs which is considerable but in an even contest he looks tough to beat again from a favourable draw. DRAGON SUNRISE (11) is a 19-start maiden who has started favourite at his last two outings but failed to reward backers. Ran a terrific race two back in a comparable race to this. Can play a key role with a repeat of that performance. DOUBLE BINGO (7) raced handy and it took the judge to split him and Family Fortune here at this trip at his latest appearance. Very fit after two runs back from a spell and should be peaking now. ZETTA FORCE (6) returned from a four-month spell and finished third in the same race as Double Bingo here four weeks back. Will take a lot from that hit-out and should be competitive again. SMILING EMPEROR (10) returned to form last start and does save his best for the 1650m at HAPPY VALLEY.
