About Kyoto Racecourse
Kyoto Racecourse, built in 1924 and now undergoing a significant renovation, is the premier track in Japan’s Kyoto prefecture. Its turf course has an outer circumference of 1894.3 metres, while the dirt course is 1607.6 metres. The course’s defining feature is a slope on the third corner of the track.
