About Canberra Racecourse
Canberra Racecourse is one of Australia's most modern racing tracks. It features two racetracks: the turf course of Thoroughbred Park and the all-weather Acton Track. The Thoroughbred Park track has a circumference of 1815 metres, and hosts two major race days each year, including the Black Opal Stakes and Canberra Cup day. The Acton Track is 1620 metres in diameter with a 380-metre home straight.
