About Townsville Racecourse
Townsville Racecourse is one of Australia's top provincial racecourses, and is located in the suburb of Cluden. It is operated by the Townsville Turf Club. The first meeting at Townsville Racecourse took place over three days in August 1866. The track has a circumference of 1680 metres and a final straight of 310 metres.
