PEAR BELLINI has drawn well in barrier two, should be fitter now, is expected to settle midfield and looks capable of running over the top late. The one to beat in this small field after scratchings. SEA TURTLE can be ridden more positively here after getting too far back last start, and if able to settle closer, is capable of being in the finish. ARGERICH has also drawn well and should be hard fit after plenty of racing this prep. TAWFIQ TOM looks next best.

About Port-macquarie Racecourse
Port Macquarie Racecourse is a provincial track close to the towns of Newcastle and Coffs Harbour. The track is run by the Port Macquarie Race Club and hosts 20 race meetings every year. The feature event of the carnival is the Port Macquarie Cup run over 2000 metres and worth $100,000 in prize money.
