1400m Maiden Plate. Here, a dozen can run. As things stand both Gollan and Waller are good for three. That's 50% of the field from just two yards. Once again the fluctuations (from the moment they open) demand extra respect. No's 5,9,13 more likely to settle forward. Only time shall tell. I liked what I saw of SEATICFLASH when it made its SE Qld debut when also having just 2nd start. Went back from a wide alley, made up many lengths to finish 2nd. The extra 200m here should be no problem, but here and now is the unknown. The resuming new blood STORMING HOME creates plenty of interest. None better than Jack Bruce in these circumstances at this point in time. With B Thompson engaged I've a sneaky feeling this will be terribly hard to beat. Market should point us in the right direction with the Gollan and Waller starters as to what they prefer. Have they got the ammo to defeat the aforementioned?
