Expecting a good track. Gracie's Rain is likely to cross from barrier 10 and lead. Arcandam may come across with her. VERDOUX is drawn to sit just off the speed from barrier three. She won her first two starts and has placed in five of six since. Resuming, she drops to 55.5kg. She was a close third here with 58kg in a similar race two runs back. CASTELLAR was a strong victor here second up, after a close third to the in-form Gallant Son fresh. GRACIE'S RAIN should give a good sight on the speed. EXPULSION is likely to run on hard. About Caulfield Racecourse
Caulfield Racecourse, home to the Melbourne Racing Club, is located 8 kilometres southeast of Melbourne's CBD. The track has a circumference of 2080 metres and a 367-metre home straight. It hosts the Caulfield Cup, as well as many other premier race meets.
