CHEERFUL WONGCHOY (1) gets the nod off two sound Class 4 efforts at Sha Tin, most recently fifth to Luck Is Back when beaten just over two lengths after sitting off the speed and grinding away. He is still a maiden after seven starts, but the drop into Class 5 and Zac Purton taking the ride give him the clearest winning profile. ORIENTAL SURPRISE (10) is the obvious danger, having placed in all three runs this campaign and come off a third to Double Bingo after a narrow second at this venue. THE ALL ROUNDER (5) has hit the line well at consecutive Sha Tin runs and is building nicely third-up, though 1650m is new territory. WINDICATOR FAMILY (11) resumed with a solid third at this track and has a genuine track-and-distance base, so he is capable of pressing the main pair if he repeats that fresh effort.
