Winter Carnival Racing continues at Eagle Farm on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Queensland Oaks. We'll be racing on a Good rated surface with absolutely perfect conditions all week, there's hardly been a cloud in the sky! An 1800m affair for the restricted gallopers gets us underway, really hoping for a few scratchings as the top tip CAVALRY MAN is third emergency. Absolutely luckless at Doomben a fortnight back he was bolting in behind the leaders, forced to come across heels he ran home well all too late. ROTAGILLA struggles at 2000m, back to his pet trip here.

About Eagle-farm Racecourse
Eagle Farm Racecourse is Queensland's premier track. It hosts the Brisbane Cup, QLD Derby, Victory Stakes and the Stradbroke Handicap. The track is operated by the Brisbane Racing Club. It is located on over 60 hectares of land in Ascot. The track has a circumference of 2027 metres and a 434-metre-long straight.
