State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 5-8-10-6
Former Victorian on-pacer FROSTNIP has performed well at both other fresh runs and bolted in with the latest of her two lead-in trials. She bears close watching at her local debut. URBAN LAD cleared maiden ranks here over 1200m first up last prep and placed in the latest of his two lead-in trials. LIFE AFTER LOVE has been sound at both runs back from a break and strips all the fitter for them. HOT WINGS has proved disappointing since placing first up but has been freshened up for this.
