UNCLE CAT (7) did little and finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1408m at Charles Town last start after being in contention on the corner, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Charles Town the run before. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. TRICKY TIGER (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fourth in a 1609m contest at Mountaineer Park five weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. LITTLE VAQUERO (1) finished fifth two runs back at Thistledown (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn over 1207m at Thistledown (Dirt). Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. CHARLESTON (2) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 1207m at Thistledown (Dirt), finishing fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Can do better this time.
