ALKER TRAZ (2) should have won on debut at Ruakaka, and then made no mistakes when cruising home to victory there 7 weeks ago. He has a whole lot of potential, and has been patiently handles thus far in his career. He has the scope to go right on with the job now. LUVABEEL (12) is resuming from a 2-start campaign earlier in the year which saw her win her maiden at her final run at Matamata. She resumes with a couple of trials under her belt, and despite copping a wide gate, she can still be very competitive fresh. OCEAN RULES (11) made an encouraging return when finishing fourth here over 1100m a fortnight ago. The extra 400m this time is the key, and she can figure in the top 3. GOLDEN POINT (1) has held his form since winning his maiden second up at Avondale in July. He can make full use of the pole position, and another honest effort is on the cards. YOKOZUNA (6) has been disappointing overall this year, and is running out of chances for us. Keep him safe one more time.
