INTERPLANETARY (7) has been close up off wide draws in his last couple of starts, and from a superior gate in a smaller field here, we have him on top in a modest field. HE'S DIVINE (6) is a touch one-paced, and needs a clear run to be at his best, and in a small field than last time, he can get conditions to suit his racing style. Give him another chance. PAPER ROMANCE (5) was a well deserved maiden winner at Ruakaka just over 2 weeks ago, and this is not that much of a step up for him. He is making up for lost time as a lightly tried 6YO gelding, and he can repeat the dose. GUIPAGO (2) has a few quirks, but he turned it on last time out here 2 weeks ago when finishing a brave runner-up. He has a better gate here, and can go one better. NOVAK (3) will be rock-hard fit, and his last couple of runs have been cheeky efforts at long odds, so include him in all combos to be safe.
