MULL OF KINTYRE ran strong numbers up front in winning debut at Echuca on the chute 1100m start like here. Looks to have come back strongly after jumping out with Group 1 performer My Gladiola who grabbed her on the line. KIPPIS wasn't entitled to get up last start, but came with a crazy burst in the last 100m to nail leader and they were five lengths in front of third. Always looked she would improve with time. Jumped out nicely at Cranbourne late July and been keep super fresh for this. Might be suited by the strong tempo. ANNOUNCED SPEED was impressive winning on Heavy 10 on debut when working out of a pocket and finishing strongly. Ran best last 400 of the meeting. Seemed comfortable on Good4 in Mornington jumpout before debut. ROMANTIC MISS struggled to handle heavy ground last start. Comes in fresh and began last campaign with thumping 1000m victory. MEET ME HALFWAY got the job done with the blinkers first time on Heavy8 going, but has a solid profile on good tracks.
