RICH KING was solid when resuming after racing a bit fresh, then being shuffled back when needing to be moving forward. Finished strongly immediately behind Scarole who ran well at Sandown midweek. INDEPENDANT LAD stuck on well on the Pakenham synthetic and now moves up in distance, but race like he would continue on at same speed over longer trip. IMABADGUY has jumped out well in two 1200m hit outs which is a good setup for 1500m debut, something which is not unusal for this stable. SENTALOA was solid enough in Sandown jump out over 800m when you consider he is bred to run staying trips, so definitely improves out to 1500m. LATASSA has had a good foundation of three jump outs on heavy ground coming off a 42 week break. Looked sort who would be suited by slower tempo of longer trips on debut showing.
