ROSANGELA sizzled home to get up from an awkward scenario at Pakenham synthetic to make it back to back victories. Has solid profile on turf. Adaptable type, does no work from the draw. LAWBOROUGH resumes, but won first two starts on good tracks over 1200m before being tested over 1400m on Heavy 8 and then was too keen when tried in Group 2 company. Strong through the line in Flemington 800m jump out. SHE'S MY EX ran well in Adelaide two starts back when just caught over 1050m then tried stakes class. Much better placed here in this class and was solid in 1100m in Saturday metro company second up last preparation. PICK 'N' MIX looked an improver with the synthetic first-up run under her belt. Just missed second up last start on the Pakenham turf track over this trip behind Foxenberg. HYDRO RUSH impressed here on debut on heavy track. B Shinn booking is significant but needs a lot of scratchings.
