HEDJET brings some really interesting overseas form. Just beaten in tight finish by A O'Brien trained Christmas Day who then won Group 1Epsom Derby and was runner up in Irish Derby. Jump out 3rd against Regal Award and Zambardo, wide margin, but some nice horses behind him. That was solid for a 1300m on big track. Went close in jumpout against La Zoom, a Sale winner on debut. MR SPENDEDOE gets much better draw than debut where showed excellent pace and gave a great site, shifting out abruptly final stages and rider taking hold. MONSIEUR CLAUDE jumped out very nicely on the Pakenham synthetic, but the Caulfield Heath trial was a beauty when he gave rivals a massive start and pulled back huge amount of ground under a big hold. No surprise to see H Coffey stick with him on raceday after that effort. BOSS BUNDLE was warming up when meeting trouble, but still wanted to fight to the line. Extra 200m looks perfect. BRILLIANT BULL ANT might be hopless on the heavy if last two starts any guide. Runs on soft and synthetic were good enough to figure.
