HAPPY LEGEND (5) brings the strongest recent form after missing by a nose in Open grade at Perak, where he was heavily supported into very short odds-on territory. The return to Class 4 is a key advantage, and the 2kg claim gives him a further edge despite his limited 1400m record. ANIKI (1) has been safely held in two Class 3 runs over 1200m, but he is far better placed back to Class 4 and his one win and five placings from eight starts at this track and distance keep him right in the argument. COMMANDER (6) is the in-form danger after beating Banker's Secret in Class 5 company last start, and his six wins and three placings from 17 starts at this track and distance make him a genuine threat if he carries that form into a stronger race. FLAWLESS (2) was disappointing as odds-on favourite last start, but the class drop and proven 1400m record give him a chance to restore some credibility.
