LOYALTY BANKER'S (1) sets the standard after seconds at both starts, the latest when beaten a head by Perak Star at this track after again being well found in betting. He is third-up, race fit and has placed twice from two tries at both this venue and the distance, so the profile is clearly the most reliable. PACIFIC SPLASH (8) has more upside than most after starting favourite on debut and finishing fourth, beaten two and a half lengths, in the same race in which Loyalty Banker's ran second. Barrier 1 gives him every chance to improve second-up. CAPET REGENT (2) has to rebound from a last placing in Class 4, but the class drop, prior fourth at this track and one placing from four at this track and distance keep him in the winning discussion. SUPER ROCKET (4) has been soundly beaten at his past two, yet the class drop, weight relief and fourth-up set-up give him a realistic chance to run into a minor placing if he sharpens noticeably.
