KOWANNI SHITAGAU (10) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Hakodate, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Heading in the right direction and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. INFIORATA (1) turned in a decent effort last start when she made late ground to finish third over 1800m at Hakodate. Should build on that performance and is nicely placed to feature in the finish. ART (7) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 2000m at Hakodate. Big chance based on that latest effort. HEXENHAUS (6) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1800m at Hakodate. Looks to be in the right race to turn things around.
