LOGI CAPE (7) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by a nose over 1400m at Tokyo. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins from four outings. Sure to go well again. ASK KENTUCKY (10) added to his impressive record when fresh from a break and tackling a turf track for the first time last start, scoring by 0.8 lengths at Hakodate over 1200m. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will give a great sight. SOUTH BANK (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Kyoto but ran below par last time when tenth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1200m at Hakodate after being in contention on the corner. Better than that - anticipating a big run this time. ANGE PROMISE (8) won at Hakodate two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 1200m at the same venue. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
